VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We are thrilled about your interest in our group. Your participation will help us achieve our goal to strengthen the Republican Party in Lower Merion and Narberth and to improve the quality of life for all our residents.

If you would like to pick up a yard sign, volunteer, or simply chat politics feel free to visit Kacie Peters at our headquarters. The office is open weekdays from 10 am-5 pm.


1. Committee

Finance Committee-Help make the February Lincoln Day Dinner and Silent Auction and the annual Spring Fundraiser successful events. Also, assist in identifying people who will host fundraisers for candidates that touch our Township.

Communications Committee- Assist with website development, e-mail communications and correspondence with all Republicans in our organization and our Township. Write letters to the Editors of local and regional newspapers.

Registration Committee- Organize voter registration drives and encourage those who have moved into our Township to register Republican.

2. Lower Merion Headquarters

Assist with special projects (e.g., mailings, distribution of political signs or manning Headquarters when Cailin is unavailable).

Provide computer and technological assistance.

3. Election Day

Work at a poll
Make phone calls to voters
Give people rides to their polling places
Literature drops

4. Help on a Campaign(s)

Place a yard sign on your property
Host a fundraiser or coffee for a candidate
Attend fundraisers for candidates
Help with the day-to-day details of a candidate’s campaign

Campaigns include: President, US Senator, US Congress, PA Senate Representative, PA State Representative, Auditor General, Treasurer, PA Attorney General, LM Township Commissioner, LM School Board Director, other (please specify): .

5. Become a Committeeperson or Poll worker.

In each precinct, which includes approximately 1,200 voters, there are two Republican Committee people who represent and inform their neighbors about Republican elections and candidates within their neighborhood. Additionally, a Judge of Elections, Majority and Minority Inspectors, and Constables are needed at each poll.
