Stephen Selinger for Township Commissioner

Stephen Selinger is a graduate of Lower Merion
High School and Bucknell University. His son and daughter are also
graduates of Lower Merion high schools.
Currently, Steve is Vice President of Media for
Compas, Inc., where he oversees the deployment and purchasing of over
$150 million in communications programs on behalf of numerous
healthcare manufacturers. Steve
has served on the Board of Trustees for the Mary J. Drexel Home since
1992 and is a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church,
serving on the Church Council for over 20 years. Steve is also a
member of the Penn Valley Civic Association.
As a lifelong resident of Lower Merion, Steve is
committed to the well being of the Township.
As a 26-year resident of Penn Valley, he is in tune to the
unique needs and quality of life concerns of the residents of our
ward. Troubled by the
rising cost of local government, Steve is committed to restraining our
Township’s spending trends. As
an enthusiastic gardener, he is concerned about the Township’s tree
canopy deterioration and the decline of the condition of our area
watersheds. He is also
opposed to the placement of a school bus depot in any residential
sections of the ward. Steve
is the proud grandfather of four.
